1. Boots
I like shoes, but I'm not the girl that has 1,065 pairs of pumps in their closet. All I need is two or three nice pumps and I'm good. BUT...One reason why I love and care so much for the winter (besides the fact that I enjoy skiing and the cold) is because it gives me a chance to show off all the BOOTS I have in my closet. My mom says I have too many. Fifteen pairs (I think) aren't a lot to have in my opinion. As long as I wear every single pair, it's okay with me. Here are a few of them. Enjoy!
This pair came first this year. My mom is a sales representative for Avon and these boots are made by them. The faux fur runs all the way down the boot and the inside sole of the boot has a cushion in for the feet, which makes them extremely comfortable. It also has a nice size heel. I folded the top of the boot over so the fur can be seen. You can wear in or out.
I bought these boots from Old Navy. They were advertised on TV numerous of times, and each time I saw them, I wanted them more and more. So i ordered them. Yay. This pair is very comfortable and easy to walk in. They are quick to get in and can go with any outfit.
Last, but not least, here is my most favorite of all. I have an account with ShoeDazzle and I ordered this pair a few days ago from the company. They have a name: Moira. I love this pair because it gives me so much height and they are equally as comfortable as the other pairs, despite the fact that a cushion does not exist in them. It has a 4.25 inch heel and a 1 inch platform.

I enjoy trying different hairstyles.
My hair has grown since the last time I wore a natural. I decided to let it all out today and wear it as a natural again for a few days:There are so many different ways to maintain a natural and to keep it looking fresh and clean. I am aware of the fact that people do have their own opinions and ideas about what to do as far as naturals are concerned, which I appreciate. They allow me to learn what not to do when it comes to my hair. Basically, every head of hair you come across is different.I was (and still is) so used to putting my hair in a ponytail and going about my day, and when I decided to go with a natural, I was so fed up with the routine I was using, I dropped the whole thing. Wasting 10 minutes on my hair is not cool. Quick, easy, and efficient is the way to go.
SOOO...here's what I do:
1) Braid my hair to the scalp the night before.
2) Unbraid it the next day and pick it out until I'm satisfied.
3) Run a little grease through it.
Bam, I'm done.

What a Weekend...
Oh gee. Spring break was a fun mess lol. went to work Monday through Thursday..Friday i went to my sisters house and spent the rest of my break there. It was ok, not too bad. Until I dislocated my knee twice and tore my acl. I was playing basketball when it happened. I know I'm a great basketball player, defense being my strong point. I was guarding my brother, who's six feet tall. He got tired of me guarding him. He made everybody get off the court. It was just me and him. As he started to drive, he stepped on my right foot and my knee went another way. I didnt know he was on my knee. He apologized. I wasnt complaining but it hurt like hell. From there, the injury was the only thing that held me back but I stil had fun.
My sister has a little doggy, or what i call an "ankle biter". his name is Tigan, pronounced tee-gan. Its cute. He gets on my nerves lol. The dog is smart and im supposedly his auntie. And he knows this. He stills my food. First of all, what is the dogg doing near my plate? He likes to lunge at me too. Annoying. Gotta love him tho.
Those are pretty much the highlights of my spring break. Missed school today. Cant walk without crutches and my boss was really nice about taking over my shift for a week...wonder if there was a catch or something...but anyway ill get to feeling better eventually.
Im still messing around with my afro. Found some giant earrings to wear, they're badass of course. and i look good, as usual. Haha not conceited, just confidence.

New Look
I got out friday for Spring Break from college, feels good to be out for a good week and some. Well needed rest. so start off, I decided to change my hair. I had wore kinky twists for almost a year and decided to take them out. My hair grew a lot. It grew so much that I decided to go natural and wear an afro.
I was dared to and said yes to it. And it came out pretty good! Its a nice size for my head, being that its so dang huge. Itz kinda hard to manage but I think thats bcause Im learning how to manage it and trying to figure out which products my hair "likes". But its going great so far. Getting great feedback from my people, not that it would matter, but its good lol. Now that I have an Afro ill be, I can stilll wear big earrringz! So happy! Awesome! Im watching videos of this one chick that has all these big earring az she's rockin' tha natural like a g! Go girl!
Hollerz!

yea...:-)
I go to a community college down here and I am part of the "Honors" Program/Club or whatever it is. This last meeting was the worse meeting ever.I dont know everybody in the club so I try and make an effort to talk to everyone so that they know who I am and I know who they. Good right? Wrong. I went up to two girls and one guy and asked them if the director was here yet, just to start a convo. They looked at me like what the heck. really? You're askng us this? ok...so they eventually answered and i tried to make conversation with them but it didn't happen.
The meeting started. We were taught proper etiquette in "diner", "medium-priced", and "formal dinner" settings. The lady from the video was from Georgia, which was annoying since it seemed like she talked to us like we were threed saying stuff like "Eat the food" or "The butter knife is for the butter, and you use it to cut the butter". It just went down from there lol. It was funny tho. It really wasn't that bad. Being that it was my birthday and that I hadnt done a single thing for myself, except drive to school, eat, and make good grades. nIce.

Just A Thought
People are always talking about drama and people who have drama. It gets really annoying. I personally don't like drama and I always avoid or remove myself from it. If it involves me and another person, I only talk about it with that one person and that's it. Simple. Drama doesn't follow me nor do I follow it. I do my own thing.
I figured this is how it gets started: Someone confides in a person that's close to them. That person goes and tells someone else and so forth. Eventually, the original statement gets twisted out of proportion and it gets back to the first person. Now the first person wants to get even with the girl or guy that said the wrong thing. Thats how I see it. It happens almost everyday. Yea, all my friends tell me everything but I don't care enough to open my mouth to anybody else. I just keep it between me and whoever Im talking to. Thats it.
And they wonder why im so blunt....Haha, I love it.

EME
I've only been here for 19 years and I think I have a good perception on what good music, even though some of you may not think so. I happened to meet a friend, who happens to be the ceo of the music label, ELEVATOR MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT. They are headed in Sacramento, California, "trying to create a few smiles and a few memories for the world to remember." The release of the album, UNIFICATION, most likely made everybody happy at the label. I totally blew that album name way out of proportion. It needed to be. It is the most important of course. It's an awesome name thats goes along with the great music and cool artists that accompany it. O yea, theres 23 tracks but, unlike most cds, you wont get tired of listening to the same person on one album because there's different artists on each song. Spreaded out. Its evenly balanced. ;-)
I bought the album a few weeks ago and I'm still bassin' and blastin' this music in my car. The music is soulful, energic, playful, funny, down to earth, truth, takes you on a ride from start to finish, its whats up fo' realz lol. There's live comedy on the cd which had me cracking up. This whole album kept me in a good mood.
Some of the Songs:
"Elevated Debate"(nice one), "A Friend"( I want the tab to this song), "Old School Smabbin" (had some crazy fun with my friends to this song lol oh gee), "Runnin"(thats whats up), "Find Balance"...those are just a few that i love.
Music like this is hard to come by so I suggest you get it. I love this album and Im so gonna promote it out here 'til I..well you get the idea, go get it. The link to EME's official WEBSITE is below. You can purchase their CD and get T-SHIRTS!

Starbucks
Last night, my friends and I decided to go the city to get a break from college, schoolwork, teachers, etc. We went to the movies and the mall. Afterwards, we go to Starbucks. Now I don't drink coffee and this was the last place I wanted to be but I didn't complain because I didn't want to ruin it for everybody else. So we walked in and they all got in line while I sat down and waited on them. All three heads of my friends turned to look at me simultaneously. Very scary sight. I immediately told them I i didn't like Starbucks or coffee. I think I said it too loud because everyone in the place seemed to stop drink and talking just to stare at me. Awkward much. One of the workers ran back in a room and the manager came out and approached me. He just stared for a minute. As he opened his mouth to speak, the customers surrounded the table I was sitting. My friends were just so weirded out I started laughing. The manager started to throw deals at me on Starbucks products and I turned down every one of them. It was funny. We finally left after my friends got free frappucinos after buying and drinking mica lattes because they felt I was a contagious anti-coffee germ. It was pretty funny. Thankfully I walked out of that place alive.
